TGM Bakery will replace the now-shuttered Sweet Monkey yogurt shop in Emory Point.

The General Muir has plans to open an adjacent bakeshop, Eater Atlanta first reported.

The New York-style deli will expand into the neighboring 2,000-square-foot space formerly occupied by Sweet Monkey yogurt shop (shuttered in February) to open TGM Bakery.

Slated to begin baking this summer, TGM will support all of the bread needs for sister concepts Fred’s Meat & Bread, Yalla, West Egg Café, and The General Muir.

The shop, at 1520 Avenue Place, Suite B-210 in the Emory Point development, will have a retail component, open to the public for a few hours daily.
