The Chicago-style restaurant concept, Portillo’s, is heading towards achieving another big milestone. The restaurant will mark the brand’s 100th location, making this moment all the more special.

Portillo’s Marks Georgia Debut and Milestone Location

For years, Portillo’s has spread its magic across different states with its unrivaled Chicago-style street food. Slowly and steadily, the restaurant has expanded its influence and is now ready to open its 100th location. The opening is also special because the restaurant is making its debut in Georgia.

Located at 790 Cobb Place Blvd NW in Town Center at Cobb, the location features the brand’s “Restaurant of the Future” design. Visitors can look forward to a splendid opening ceremony. Following this, they can check out the craveable menu items that have made Portillo’s a favorite across 10 states.

100th Location’s Restaurant of the Future Design

The new restaurant takes over a 6,250 square-foot space at a 1.2 million square-foot enclosed mall off of Barrett Parkway. It includes a dining room that can seat more than 125 guests and an outdoor patio that seats 40 additional guests. The location also features double drive-thru lanes, a grab-and-go retail area, pickup shelves, and a self-serve beverage area.

These features are all signature to the brand and make for a smooth customer experience. The location will feature them all in a more compact and efficient prototype.

Opening Day Events and Appearances

The restaurant in Kennesaw, Georgia, will open on November 18, 2025. The official ribbon-cutting ceremony of the brand’s 100th store will take place at 9:30 a.m. The brand’s VP of Restaurant Support, Michael Portillo, will attend the event. The event will also include a special check presentation to the brand’s charity partner, Cobb Schools Foundation.
