The ‘flex-mex’ restaurant will take over neighboring space.

Tin Lizzy’s is looking to add more tables and booths to its Grant Park location, at 415 Memorial Dr. SE.

The “flex-mex” restaurant filed plans with City of Atlanta Monday to expand into the adjacent 900-square-foot space next-door formerly occupied by Only You Tattoo.

The expansion should be complete in the next “two to three months,” Thomas Gibson of Boggs Vickers told What Now Atlanta (WNA) in a telephone conversation Monday.

Boggs Vickers, an Atlanta-based architectural firm, will oversee the project through design and construction. Boggs built the Augusta, Kennessaw, and Buford Tin Lizzy’s.

Tin Lizzy’s temporarily shuttered its Grant Park location March 9 – 10 for some minor interior renovations to the existing space.

  • What does flex-mex mean? Why are you using this term. It is meaningless to the average reader unless you define it. Is it something the restaurant calls itself?
