Transcending Tea is opening up an all-new location, at 4338 Paces Ferry Road SE, in the Paces Bend Center. The company last month secured a three-year lease for a 1,000-square-foot space in the Vinings shopping center. It will join Loaded Potato Bar which also was just recently revealed to be coming to Paces Bend Center. As for when Transcending Tea is opening up its new location, they’re looking at January 2021, pending a lot of work and remodeling.

Transcending Tea already has a fully-operational location, at 400 Ernest W Barrett Parkway NW, in the Town Center at Cobb in Kennesaw. At this location, you’ll find Mcintyre and his staff who are very passionate about tea. “Tea isn’t just a drink, it’s a lifestyle,” the company states on its website.

Victor Mcintyre and his business partners Kyara Johnson and Denise Early founded the company because they had a “crazy love” for tea, Mcintyre told What Now Atlanta. They wanted people to have a variety of teas with amazing benefits and great flavor. At the Transcending Tea retail shop, the shelves carry a large variety of loose leaf tea — everything from English Breakfast to Pumpkin Spice to Cherry Rosebud — and teaware like a glass infuser.

As of right now, Mcintyre said he wants to open up new locations in the future and, if everything works out, it’ll be one new shop a year. As an Atlanta native, Mcintyre said Transcending Tea is working its way slowly into the city.
