Chef Deborah VanTrece is looking to open the newly-relocated Twisted Soul Cookhouse & Pours in West Midtown on Saturday, December 3 for dinner service beginning at 5:00 p.m., according to a press release Monday.

The new incarnation of her neighborhood restaurant, at 1133 Huff Road NW in a refitted and renovated space, is replacing the recently-shuttered Bone Lick BBQ.

“In our new home, we’ve kept the things we’ve always loved about Twisted Soul: the food, our people and an exciting atmosphere,” VanTrece said in the release.

“But we’ve also created an upscale feel that plays on the ‘cookhouse’ theme, and we’ve been able to put our own stamp on this place. We feel like we’ve created Twisted Soul in its best form.”

Behind the bar, VanTrece’s wife and business partner Lorraine Lane will reprise her role as beverage director, creating the cocktail program and curating the wine and beer selection with a focus on local craft brews.

Lunch service at Twisted Soul will begin on Sunday, December 6 with regular lunch hours 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and weekend brunch will begin the following weekend on Saturday and Sunday, December 10 -11. Twisted Soul already has a liquor license, so the full bar menu will be available for dinner, lunch and brunch upon opening.
