Several more locations are in the works for Urban Wings, including one about to take flight in East Atlanta.

Urban Wings in East Atlanta will hold a grand opening event on Dec. 10.

The newest location is opening in a space formerly occupied by Delia’s Chicken Sausage Stand, which closed last fall, the Atlanta Business Chronicle reported.

Moez “Moe” Hasni launched Urban Wings in 2020 and opened the first location with Salman “Sam” Badruddin the following year in West Midtown. The flagship restaurant was followed by another location on Piedmont Avenue earlier this year with the company’s first franchise partner.

Hasni told What Now Atlanta that after the East Atlanta restaurant opens, locations in Decatur (2680 E College Avenue) and Suwanee (3110 Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road) will be next.

The new locations will have the same menu that customers have come to know and love, featuring bone-in and boneless wings, chicken tenders, and panko shrimp, complemented with sides like tater tots, fried green tomatoes, sweet corn nuggets and mozzarella sticks, to name just a few. Vegan wings, nuggets and tenders are available as well.

More than 30 sauces ensure a wide variety of flavor with a range of spice, from the mild Southlanta (tangy lemon and buttery flavors with hints of pepper) to Ghost Pepper (ghost pepper, habanero pepper, passion fruit juice, lime juice and garlic). A dessert menu that includes fried cheesecake and beignets will sweeten the deal after all that spice.

According to the Urban Wings website, they only serve hormone-free natural chicken.
