Shopping center property manager files plans for new cold-press juice concept.
Atlanta is getting another juice bar concept.
JWB Realty Services, the property manager for Peachtree Hills Village, submitted a building permit application to City of Atlanta Monday to convert retail space at the shopping center into Veda Juice.
An estimated $70,000 will be spent converting suite 105, a 1,200-square-foot space, into the juice bar concept.
Aside from a Facebook page founded Oct. 6 listing a company description and telephone number, details surrounding the concept are scarce.
“Step up to a healthier life with Veda Juice Bar, now serving 100 percent cold-pressed juice, organic and locally sourced whenever available,” according to the Facebook page’s about section.
What Now Atlanta phoned the company early Tuesday for comment and reached its voicemail. Veda Juice Bar’s website is under construction.
Developing…
I hope they’re not paying much to have their property managed by a company that misspells both street names of the intersection where the building is located.
Anyone else remember when there was a little convenience store on that corner where cars going north on Peachtree Hills Ave. were constantly cutting across the parking lot in order to avoid having to stop at the light?
A juice bar seems like a pretty good fit there – something people in the neighborhood can walk to, or stop at on the way to work in the mornings. So many things have come and gone from that shopping center in just the eight years or so that it’s been there.
