Since November 2010, the 11,000 sq. ft. standalone building on the corner of Courtland and Andrew Young International Boulevard in Downtown Atlanta has gone through several iterations including the decadent Harlem Nights Ultra Lounge and currently VIDA Ultra Lounge.

Now, nearly a decade later, according to permits filed with the City of Atlanta, roughly $50,000 will be spent to do interior alterations to the space to refit it for 201 Courtland Street’s latest iteration as La Vie Restaurant.

Planned alterations include new bar flooring, paint, window treatments as well as work on interior staircases.

On October 30, on Facebook and Instagram VIDA Ultra Lounge put out a call to hire new bartenders and waitresses for a new business concept that they would spend the subsequent 20 days staffing.

VIDA Ultra Lounge already serves and delivers an expansive lunch and dinner menu with fare ranging from light (salads, wings and fries) to heavy (grilled marinated rib eye, pasta and lobster).

The new concept roll-out is expected by the end of the year.
