‘It took me three years, but it’s finally coming to fruition.’

Jackmont Hospitality, Inc., in partnership with entertainer Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges, announced in a press release Friday that Chicken+Beer, named for Ludacris’ third album, has finally opened in Concourse D of Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.

Chicken+Beer was first announced for the airport early 2012.

The 90-seat restaurant is Jackmont Hospitality, Inc.’s second independently developed concept at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport following One Flew South which opened nearly a decade ago.

Chicken+Beer serves “Southern-style comfort food “and locally sourced beers.

“For over 20 years, the Jackmont Hospitality name has been synonymous with delicious food, warm hospitality and a steadfast commitment to excellence,”Daniel Halpern, CEO and co-founder of Jackmont Hospitality Inc., said in the release.

“Chris is the quintessential advocate for Atlanta’s rich culture and together we aim to introduce Chicken+Beer as a reflection of the city’s character,” said Halpern.

At Chicken+Beer, look for menu items like Battered Catfish with Corn Edamame Succotash and Parsnip Puree, and Luda’s Chicken and Pecan Waffles with whiskey maple syrup and andouille sausage.

The beer selection spotlights an array of local varieties including those from Sweetwater and Terrapin as well as styles from craft breweries Monday Night Brewing, Creature Comfort, Orpheus and Reformation.
