Anh’s Kitchen appears to be ready for further expansion as the company has chosen a new spot for another location. Already opened and serving customers in Midtown, Anh’s Kitchen will be heading to 16 Jesse Hill Jr Dr NE, according to permits filed with the city.
Just off I-85 in the heart of downtown Atlanta, the new location will be near Sweet-Stack Creamery, The Original Hotdog Factory Downtown, and Pal’s Lounge.
Renovation on the new property will reportedly be extensive for Anh’s Kitchen.
Buildout of the existing vacant building will be required to become a full service restaurant. Exterior work will include replacing steel windows with new windows, doors, sidelights and lighting. Interior work will include new partitions, floors, ceilings, fixtures and equipment with the associated MEP and gas piping.
Cost of construction is expected to be just under half a million dollars, according to permits filed with the city. The restaurant’s square footage is reported to be 4,622 ssquare feet.
The Vietnamese restaurant opened in Midtown in 2017.
Anh’s Kitchen offers a large variety of modern Vietnamese dishes, including spring rolls, salads, pho, banh mi, entrees built on rice or vermicelli noodles and large, family-style clay pot dishes.
Correction: An earlier version of this story erroneously stated Alex Kinjo is the owner of Anh’s Kitchen. Kinjo designed Anh’s Kitchen Midtown but is not an owner or partner in the restaurant. Kinjo did not design Anh’s Kitchen Downtown.
