Watchman’s Seafood and Spirits will open its doors June 19 at 5 p.m. for its first dinner service, the restaurant and cocktail bar from the team behind Decatur’s Kimball House, announced earlier this month on Facebook.

Watchman’s replaces the Luminary adjacent the Ticonderoga Club in Krog Street Market.

Daniel Chance, whose experience includes Bacchanalia and Star Provisions, is the executive chef.

His menu will be centered on sustainable Gulf seafood and Southern oysters.

Adrian Fessenden-Kroll, a longtime Kimball House bartender, will manage the bar program at Watchman’s, focused on craft cocktails.

The restaurant’s hours of operation are 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 5 p.m. to midnight Friday, 11 a.m. to midnight Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday.
