Wing Factory is no longer open for business in Chamblee’s Peachtree Dekalb Plaza. The fast-casual chain of chicken wing restaurants has decided not to renew the location’s lease, a Wing Factory rep told What Now Atlanta Thursday.

“Unfortunately, we are at the end of our lease and COVID-19 had a huge impact on us as a company,” the spokesperson said. “But we are looking at other locations in Chamblee to hopefully open again.

Wing Factory closed its doors in mid-March to slow the spread of the novel coronavirus and, like a growing list of Atlanta-area restaurants affected financially by the pandemic, never reopened.

Atlanta-founded Wing Factory has two remaining locations in Chastain and Smyrna, according to the company’s website.
