A new Wingstop could land in Gwinnett County.

A new location of the fast-casual wings franchise is planned for Dacula, according to a building permit application and construction documents. The 1,400-square-foot restaurant is in the works at a Publix-anchored shopping center at 952 Harbins Road.

Wingstop began in Garland, Texas, in 1994 and now has more than 2,000 locations. The first franchised location opened in 1997.

The menu includes classic and boneless wings in a variety of flavors, crispy tenders, chicken sandwiches, seasoned fries, and dips like ranch, honey mustard and blue cheese.

Construction bids for the new Dacula location are due April 25, 2024.
