Fast-growth jewelry brand Alex And Ani will replace Cache in Buckhead this fall.

Alex and Ani, a Rhode Island-based jewelry brand that specializes in the “expandable bangle concept,” is expanding into Atlanta.

The retailer of eco-conscious jewelry and accessories will open its first Georgia boutique in Buckhead’s Lenox Square Mall, at 3393 Peachtree Road NE, the shopping center in a press release announced Thursday.

Alex and Ani will replace Cache on the mall’s upper level across from Macy’s “later this fall.”

Founded in 2003 by second-generation Jewelry Designer Carolyn Rafaelian, Alex and Ani has been named the second-fast growing company to come out of Rhode Island with a growth rate of 3,569 percent increase in three years (from 2010 to 2013 when the brand opened its first retail store).

The jewelry brand has more than 40 boutiques internationally and the company’s wears can be found in third-party stores around the world.

The announcement of Alex and Ani arrives after Lenox recently welcomed CH Carolina Herrera, Diane von Furstenberg, and Topshop / Topman.

Alex and Ani's newest store opened August 17, 2015, in St. Maarten.
