The internet was visibly excited this past March when Happy Tabby Cat Cafe announced plans to debut as the city’s first cat cafe.

Apparently, there’s more than one way to skin a cat, as local feline enthusiast Haydn Hilton recently shared plans via Facebook to bring a second similar concept to town.

Last week, Hilton announced that the cafe would be called Catlanta Cafe. However, the social media community was quick to point out that the name was already taken by a popular local artist, known for placing tiny painted wooden cats throughout the city. Now, the cafe is back to looking for a name, and Hilton is taking suggestions via Facebook and Instagram.

At the location (which has not yet been secured), patrons can expect to pay a fee to enter the “cat lounge,” which would include a cup of specialty coffee plus one hour with the cats. The lounge would be separate from the cafe in compliance with health regulations. Also, there would also be a private room available for the felines to take a break when they need to do so.

The concept has partnered with PAWS Atlanta to provide all adoptable cats for the establishment.

In addition to coffee, the cafe plans to serve prepackaged food from The Gathering Industries, a local non-profit which employs and offers vocational training to the homeless.

A Kickstarter page has been set up to help fund the operation. The campaign has raised $3,536 of the $20,000 goal so far.

According to a timeline on the Kickstarter page, buildouts are expected to begin in August if all goes according to plan.
