Apple is opening its shiny-new Lenox Square storefront on Friday, November 20, just in time for the company’s fall product releases — which includes the iPhone 12 — and ahead of Black Friday. Apple quietly announced the opening on a landing page for the Buckhead location with a simple message. “An inspired move,” the website states, referring to Apple’s relocation within the mall. “Come see us at our new location on November 20 at 11:00 a.m.”

Apple isn’t a stranger to Lenox Square. The company has been a tenant since May 2002, having debuted as the first Georgia location for the tech giant. It was remodeled in 2007 and will now offer two floors in its new street-facing storefront at the mall’s entrance.

Among the new store’s features are The Forum, an area of the store with a large video wall and seating, serving as a meeting place for the local community and home for “Today at Apple.” There’s also a boardroom area on the second level and floor-to-ceiling windows. Entrances are accessible from both inside the mall and from the parking lot. Although in-store shopping has resumed for Apple in Georgia, shopping “sessions” must be reserved.

Apple in early-2019 filed plans for its new Buckhead store after rumors surfaced that the company would relocate within Lenox Square. Construction was estimated at roughly $8 million per a building permit application at the time.
