Oversea-ing Asian Influenced Fashion In Atlanta

After six years of providing Atlanta’s gal’s with Asian inspired clothing, accessories, and home décor, Bombay Gal Boutique is finally settling down on North Highland Avenue in Poncey-Highland.

Originally opened in downtown and after two years at Little Five Points in a ten by ten foot booth, Bombay Gal Boutique owner, Shahnaz Hughson, is thrilled to open her “eclectic Indian Boutique” at 674a North Highland Avenue on Saturday, May 8, just in time for Mothers day.

Asia influenced and imported apparel, jewelry, and home décor, make Bombay Gal Boutique unlike any other shopping experience in Atlanta, according to Hughson.

With 1000 square feet of retail space, other merchandise available at Bombay Gal Boutique will include everything from sushi and sake dishes to Buddha’s.

In addition to the retail aspect, Hughson says that Bombay Gal will offer eyebrow threading, a “traditional Indian hair removal technique,” as well as Henna, an “Indian method for adorning the body with ink.”

Hughson will also offer her personally designed jewelry line, handmade and Asian inspired, fittingly.
