Even before opening its first space in Buckhead, yoga studio files plans for Old Fourth Ward.

CorePower Yoga isn’t wasting anytime moving forward with plans to open 20 studios in new and existing markets this year.

The yoga studio with 104 locations across thirteen states and over nearly 1,900 instructors submitted a building permit application to City of Atlanta Tuesday to buildout space for its second Georgia location in Ponce City market.

CorePower’s first location is slated to open in Buckhead at Shops Around Lenox later this year.

The yoga studio is offering a “founding black tag” membership for Atlantans who join prior to the Buckhead location’s spring opening, according to CorePower’s website.

An estimated $499,000 will be spent constructing the 5,309-square-foot studio at the Old Fourth Ward redevelopment project of City Hall East.

Colorado-based CorePower Yoga offers memberships for “heated power yoga.”
