Cycling center rolling into Lenox Square Mall this September.
Cyc, an indoor cycling “method,” announced plans Tuesday for its first Atlanta studio, slated to open in September.
“The unique method, designed by renowned trainer and Under Armour athlete, Keoni Hudoba, combines cardio and strength training, working the whole body, the whole time,” a spokesperson told What Now Atlanta (WNA) in an email.
Cyc will be located in Buckhead at Lenox Square Mall inside the Forum Athletic Club in a 2,000-square-foot space with 50 bikes.
“By incorporating weights through sectors inspired by more than 20 different sports, the Cyc experience takes the boutique indoor cycling studio concept beyond the bike. Cyc combines its signature method with engaging and interactive social platforms, as well as Ride for Change, Cyc’s charitable component.”
Classes last 45 minutes and are $25 per person per class.
Cyc has locations in New York City, Austin, TX and Madison, WI (the New York City location opened January 2014.)
Stuff Just Got Real & We are super excited about Cyc Fitness & what they are bringing to Atlanta!
Looks like another gimmick boutique cycling studio. When will people realize they don’t need to pay $25/class to get in shape?
