The fitness and fashion boutique announced the news on Facebook Friday.

Deka in Buckhead’s The Shops Around Lenox is closing its doors for good, the fitness and fashion boutique’s owner Jim Whitlow announced Friday on the company’s Facebook page.

“It is with a heavy heart to announce the closing of Deka Atlanta,” according to the post.

“…Thanks for making it a great ride and making my dreams come true.”

Whitlow opened Deka in 2007 after leaving his post as General Manager for Jeffery Atlanta in Phipps Plaza. Whitlow is moving to California with his family to “start a new journey.”

Over the “final weeks,” Deka is hosting a going-out-of-business sale.

No word on what will replace the fitness and fashion boutique.
