More deals are coming to a former party supply store in Atlanta.

Dollar Tree is working on a new space at 2100 Henderson Mill Road, according to construction documents. The space at Briarcliff Village was formerly occupied by Party City. The site is northeast Atlanta, just west of Tucker.

Dollar Tree features a wide variety of goods, including toys, party supplies, beauty products, household supplies, snacks, decor and more, all at discount prices. But don’t let the name fool you; a lot of the merchandise is no longer a dollar or less.

Headquartered in Chesapeake, Virginia, Dollar Tree, Inc. operates more than 16,000 Dollar Tree and Family Dollar stores across 48 states and 5 Canadian provinces.

“Whether you’re looking for the thrill of the hunt at Dollar Tree or shopping for your favorite brands at Family Dollar, you’re sure to find savings on a great selection of merchandise in our stores,” according to the company website.

There is currently a Dollar Tree behind the former Party City on Henderson Mill Road, indicating that the discount store is likely relocating into the open space. The Party City space is larger (more than 14,000 square feet, compared to the 7,500 square feet of the current Dollar Tree there) and more prominently facing the parking lot.

Party City announced in December 2024 that they would be closing all stores after almost 40 years in business.
