Long-standing downtown Alpharetta retail spot Moop’s Boutique is heading to the Medley development in Johns Creek, with plans to open on October 29 with the development, according to a release. The space will take a space of about 990 square feet in the development, owner Carolyn Gordon told What Now Atlanta.

Moop’s Boutique offers European-chic apparel and accessories.

“We’re quirky and preppy. You can put us on Park Avenue and also in the Hamptons,” Gordon said.

Gordon sees the forthcoming opening at the Medley as a way to build on the relationships she has developed over the years in downtown Alpharetta. She is looking forward to working within the development with Toro Development Company and collaborating with the team.

“I’m looking for a team like the Toro group that has your back and that looks out for their retailers and restaurants,” Gordon said.

Gordon is also optimistic about the benefits that a mixed-use development like Medley will bring to expanding her customer base. Rather than relying solely on the seasonal tides of foot traffic, Gordon expects that being at the Medley will allow her to capture a larger audience.

Moop’s Boutique is part of a fresh wave of tenants heading to the development in October. Other tenants include Trader Joe’s and popular Atlanta restaurant Northern China Eatery.
