Local gym brand Fitness2020 has added another location to their pipeline of spots in development. The brand has bought land in Cumming at the crossroads of Wallace Tatum Rd and GA-369, owner Jason Pelusi shared in an email with What Now Atlanta.
Pelusi said they plan to start construction on that site in Q2 of 2026.
Plans for a Cumming gym join a growing list of Fitness2020 locations planned for the next few years, including a McDonough location expected to open by the end of the year and an Acworth location that is slated to be developed next year.Â
These spots will join preexisting locations in McDonough and Eagles Landing.
Fitness2020 offers state-of-the-art fitness equipment, trainers, classes, amenities and personalized training options. It aims on creating a welcoming environment for people of all skill levels.
Fitness2020 is not the only gym brand expanding in the Atlanta area. Fellow Atlanta-based fitness brand Pepper Boxing is bringing a new location of its boxing-focused gym to Dunwoody, with plans to open in October.
