The Fresh Market To Shutter in North Druid Hills, Snellville

'Turnaround plan' calls for 13 other closures around the nation.

The Fresh Market in a press release Monday announced plans to close 15 locations including the one in North Druid Hills and Snellville locally.

The grocery store chain will pull the plug on the two metro Atlanta area stores, at 2480 Briarcliff Road and 1679 GA 124 Scenic Highway respectively, before the end of July.

Closing these stores is part of The Fresh Market’s “turnaround plan,” something eight months in the making, according to the announcement.

Employees at the “underperforming stores” could be relocated to other locations.

  • North Druid Hills, GA
  • Peoria, IL
  • Normal, IL
  • Glen Ellyn, IL
  • Lincolnshire, IL
  • Fishers, IN
  • Louisville, KY
  • North Charlotte, NC
  • Bedford, NH
  • Hendersonville, TN
  • Winchester, VA
  • Charlottesville, VA
  • Brookfield, WI
  • Fox Point, WI
