Long-time Westside Urban Market tenant closes for renovation.

G. Gilbert, a women’s apparel and accessories boutique, has temporarily closed to undergo renovations.

The boutique, located in the Westside Urban Market portion of Westside Provisons District, will reopen August 1, according to signs posted on the windows.

“We will be closed for renovation and will reopen August 1 with a fabulous new look,” according to the posted signs.

Taigan, a website that retails G. Gilbert’s fashions, also notes the renovation:

We’re sorry to miss you, but G. Gilbert is closed for the month to fully renovate the shop. We’ll be back in August with the first look at Europe’s Fall Collections from our favorite lines. Be sure to opt in for updates to learn when we are back and open with Fall apparel.

Gina Gilbert, owner of the women’s boutique, opened G. Gilbert in 2000 which carries European and independent designs and women’s shoes and accessories.
