Brookhaven garden shop announces where its moving.

Hastings Nature & Garden center is moving.

The garden shop located at 3920 Peachtree Road in Brookhaven will close this week with plans to reopen at 3420 Woodhill Drive in Peachtree Corners, according to its website.

The Peachtree Corners location is still under construction and the time line for its opening has not been confirmed.

Brookhaven Patch has a video interview with a few employees about the move.

  • This was “announced” about 2 months ago by the 1 employee when I went. The store was practically empty by that point.

  • Not sure that is the wisest relocation decision. What are they thinking? Unless, a larger retailer/developer wants to redevelope their property…hmmm…

  • Why move to Peachtree Corners anyway? That was a hot suburb in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s, now it is a poster child of how suburban sprawl and creeping blight make a place really unpleasant. I guess the land was cheap. Hope they buy some spray paint remover to take off all the gang symbols that’ll get thrown up all over their walls.
