JJ’s Flower Truck—a cream-colored, vintage ‘68 Volkswagen Transporter that can be spotted cruising throughout Atlanta and delivering flowers to open-air markets, festivals and events since September 2018—is going brick-and-mortar.

The new storefront, called JJ’s Flower Shop, will be situated in Ponce City Market (PCM) and is slated to open late-summer.

Neighboring Quick Quick on the first floor of PCM’s Central Food Hall, JJ’s Flower Shop’s walk-up kiosk with “clean, white brick walls, a bright pink neon sign, and custom wood shelving.”

For each purchase made at the shop and mobile truck, JJ’s Flower Shop will donate a portion of proceeds to local charities like She is Safe, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Bert’s Big Adventure and more.

JJ’s Flower Truck & Shop is from Owner and Founder Sarah Rice.

It is named for Rice’s Goldendoodle Jaxon Jones.

“As a supporter of small, woman-owned businesses, it was important to me to create a company that not only delivers something beautiful but also does good for others in the world,” Rice said in a press release earlier this week.

“I wanted to provide a new way to buy flowers and give my community the chance to build a bouquet as beautiful and unique as they are—a mission I’m thrilled to share with our future neighbors and friends at Ponce City Market.”

In the weeks leading up to the kiosk shop’s opening, JJ’s retro flower truck is popping up at PCM’s parking lot in front of Sugarboo every Friday from noon to 5 p.m.
