Shep’s Midtown Ace Shuts Down

Store hours from Monday to Sunday are listed as ‘closed’ on the official website of Shep’s Midtown Ace. This suggests that the hardware retailer has stopped its operations.

The Midtown Ace Hardware had been a popular hardware store for ten years on the corner of 7th and Juniper Streets.

The Hardware Retailer Had a 75% Off Sale Last Week

The development comes after the Atlanta-based retail company had a 75% off sale last week. As of now, the inventory is gone at Shep’s Midtown Ace. It is currently in the process of selling off the shelving at its decade-old location.

A Decade-long Journey for Shep’s Midtown Ace

Shep’s Midtown Ace made its way to 860 Juniper St NE, Atlanta, GA 30308 on January 20, 2015. Having opened its Midtown doors, the retail company offered services in a 5,412-square-foot area.

For ten years, the beloved hardware retailer served the local community as an “Ace Express,” owing to its reach beyond 3,000 square feet.

While Ace Hardware’s journey has paused in Midtown Atlanta, it stays open at a different location. For instance, the Grant Park Ace and the Marietta store remain open for the locals.

The sudden departure of Shep’s Midtown Ace leaves behind memories of convenience and community support in Midtown Atlanta. While the reliable stop for home improvement requirements ceased operations, another Atlanta store is still open.
