Yoga-inspired retailer could open in Old Fourth Ward.

Lululemon Athletica is the latest major national retailer that could open a Ponce City Market location joining Anthropologie, J. Crew, and West Elm, among others.

A building permit application was filed with City of Atlanta Monday for “interior and exterior alterations” to suite C187 in the mixed-use development for the athletic gear company known for its yoga clothing.

Vancouver-based Lululemon could occupy a little more than 3,000 square feet in the Old Fourth Ward redevelopment of City Hall East.

An estimated $385,000 will be spent building out the mercantile space.

Lululemon could not immediately be reached for comment.

In related news, CorePower Yoga could open its second Georgia location in Ponce City Market. The yoga studio’s first store is slated for Shops Around Lenox.
