Cigar retailer to open above Midtown Art Cinema.
The Leaf Cigar Lounge is coming to Midtown.
The full service cigar retailer is opening a 5,499-square-foot shop on Monroe Drive in Midtown Promenade shopping center, according to a building permit filed with the City of Atlanta Friday.
The Leaf Cigar Lounge will replace the now shuttered Eagle Claw Kung Fu Center located above Midtown Art Cinema, suite 206 C.
The Leaf Cigar Lounge will carry premium cigars and accessories, according to the retailer’s website. Patrons can take their cigars with them or enjoy them in the cigar retailer’s lounge area.
Midtown Promenade shopping center is anchored by Trader Joe’s and is expected to expand its parking.
The shopping center recently lost Nam restaurant when it closed in January as well as the 3 Legged Cowboy when the bar shuttered at the end of April.
