Asian household goods retailer Miniso is planning to grow its Atlanta footprint with a new location at 230 18th St. NW, according to recently filed permits.
The filings indicate roughly $9,000 in interior work, including minor demolition of non-load-bearing walls within a 4,040-square-foot space. No exterior work is currently planned.
The address appears to be part of the 17th Street Lofts in Atlantic Station, a walkable mixed-use neighborhood that includes retail neighbors like Bath & Body Works and Victoria’s Secret & PINK.
Founded in 2013 by Ye Guofu in Guangzhou, China, Miniso entered the U.S. market in 2017 and celebrated its 200th American store in 2024. The brand continues to grow, with eight locations already in metro Atlanta including stores in the Mall of Georgia and Sugarloaf Mills.
Known for its plush toys and playful aesthetic, Miniso highlights frequently rotating inventory—refreshed every seven days—and collaborations with major brands like Disney, Barbie, and Sanrio. Its offerings span lifestyle, electronics, fashion, beauty, wellness, and snacks.
An opening date has not yet been announced, and Head of Retail Tom Bartlebaugh was unavailable for comment at the time of publication.
