A rapidly growing local salon appears to be working on a new location.
Sugar Polish Nail Bar is planned for 1850 Howell Mill Road NW in suite 101, according to a recent building permit application with the City of Atlanta.
The salon would be going into a ground-floor retail space at a new apartment complex in Atlanta’s Upper West Side called The Howell. The scope of work includes new interior partitions, a new door and frame and new finishes on the floor and ceiling, as well as plumbing, electrical, lighting, mechanical and fire protection work. The salon would be about 3,430 square feet, according to the application.
Sugar Polish Nail Bar, “a modern beauty destination creating safe, memorable and luxurious experiences,” first began in 2018 with a salon in Athens, followed by a second location in West Midtown. There are now several Sugar Polish salons across Georgia, including an upcoming one at Terminal South, a future mixed-use development in the Peoplestown neighborhood.
Services include manicures, pedicures and waxing.
