LaGrange is slated to receive a new bookstore later this year. Spellbound Bookshop will open at 37 West Lafayette Square, with a grand opening planned for Nov. 28, according to the shop’s Facebook page.
An Instagram post earlier this month showcased interior design and construction progress. The space has large front windows and design elements like brick and dark walls on the interior.
The logo for the concept, unveiled on social media this month, features a raven and a branch, with elements of green, purple, black and yellow.
Ruth Heckendorf is the owner behind Spellbound Bookshop, according to City Menus. The indie bookstore will sell new books, book-related gifts and novelty items.
