Something sweet appears to be in the works on Roswell Road.
A permit for 4314 Roswell Road was filed with the City of Atlanta, and the documents show that the team behind the plan is Edible Arrangements. The approximately 5,700-square-foot building in Chastain Park was formerly occupied by EZ One Price Cleaners, which closed last year.
The project, referred to as “Retail – Edible Arrangements,” would involve the partial demolition of the building, according to the documents. Edible Brands founder and chairman Tariq Farid is listed as the owner.
According to the company, Edible Arrangements has more than 1,000 locations nationwide. Edible Arrangements currently has more than 30 stores in Georgia, including one just south of the 4314 Roswell Road space. It’s not yet clear if the brand would be relocating, or if this is an additional Chastain Park location.
The plans come on the heels of Edible Arrangements’ parent company launching Edibles.com, with plans for a cannabis product shop to open in Inman Park.
