Two residents of Poncey-Highland are planning to open a shop that specializes in high-end, non-alcoholic beverages.
Cory and Malory Atkinson will open The Zero Co. at 626 North Highland Ave., according to a press release. They are also the owners of Elemental Spirits Co., a boutique bottle shop in Poncey-Highland.
The Zero Co. will offer more than 300 nonalcoholic spirits, wines, beer and other beverages. It will partner with non-alcoholic distributor and importer The Zero Proof to bring new products to the market.
The Zero Co. will also host tastings and events.
“We’re excited to bring this concept to Atlanta,” Cory said in the press release. “I’ve been so impressed with the products that have emerged recently in the non-alcoholic space and have frankly run out of space at Elemental Spirits Co. to offer everything we have tried and fell in love with to the community. This gives us a space to focus on this fast growing and innovative category and share it with Atlanta.”
The Zero Co. is expected to open by December, along with an online shop and delivery options to the greater Atlanta area.
But I thought all the shops would be closing soon?
