Nordstrom Rack To Open A New Outlet In Suwanee, Georgia
Nordstrom Rack has signed a lease to open a new store at 3630 Peachtree Parkway, Suwanee, GA 30024, this fall. With its store, the off-price chain will join famous names like Kohl’s, Ulta, and more at the Johns Creek Town Center.
Nordstrom Rack is preparing to open at a 34,000 sq. ft. area left empty by Macy’s. The 2022-launched shop was one of the global retailer’s 70 stores that closed earlier this year as part of its ongoing attempts for sales growth.
The president of Nordstrom Rack, Gemma Lionello, shared her excitement about growing the off-price chain’s “footprint in the Georgia market.” Lionello added that they were eager to join the Suwanee community and introduce metro Atlanta locals to a new shopping experience.
The off-price chain’s president revealed that buyers could now use their convenient online order pick-up services. Lionello said that they could use NordstromRack.com and Nordstrom.com for easy returns.
The Off-Price Chain’s Seventh Georgia Store
The latest Nordstrom Rack store in metro Atlanta marks its seventh off-price outlet in Georgia. In March 2024, the retailer opened at the Snellville and Kennesaw locations. Before this, the off-price chain had stores in Alpharetta, Buford, Dunwoody, and Buckhead.
With one store each, Buckhead and Dunwoody are home to full-line Nordstrom department stores as well.
Nordstrom Rack’s Georgia expansion takes a step further with the scheduled launch this fall at Johns Creek Town Center. Replacing Macy’s, the off-price retailer is moving towards becoming a preferred choice for metro Atlanta shoppers.
