An outdoor supply store could be working on another Georgia location.

Tractor Supply Co. is proposed for a space in Newnan at the corner of US-29 and Millard Farmer Industrial Boulevard, The City Menus reports. The city is currently reviewing site plans for the store, according to the news outlet.

Tractor Supply Co. was founded in 1938. The stores sell supplies for recreational farmers, ranchers, homeowners and gardeners, like lawnmowers, outdoor furniture, tools, gardening supplies, sporting goods and more. The company also owns and operates Petsense, a pet supplies retailer.

The company is headquartered in Brentwood, Tennessee. As of September 2024, the company operates 2,270 Tractor Supply stores in 49 states, including an existing one in Newnan at 90 Marketplace Drive. They are also reportedly working on a store in Alpharetta near North Point Village Shopping Center, at a former Ethan Allen.

Newnan is in Coweta County, southwest of Atlanta. A CVS and a gas station are also located at the intersection where the new Tractor Supply Co. could be built.
