Bookstore concept from Dan Collier slated to open in June.
Dan Collier, the entrepreneur behind The Merchant (at Howell Mill and Krog Street Market), Collier Candy Company, and Archer Paper Goods, is planning a fourth concept — Read Shop.
The bookstore will be situated in suite 275 of Vinings Jubilee, Collier’s fifth physical brick and mortar shop, and first retail outpost in Cobb County.
Read Shop’s specialty will be books from the New York Times’ Best Sellers list. Selections will also include fiction, non-fiction, business and children’s books, as well as regionally and Southeast-driven publications.
Additionally, Read Shop will sell greeting cards and periodicals, and will eventually feature a small coffee outpost serving “simple” coffee.
Read shop is slated to open June 13.
Collier also owns and operates Daniel Richards, one of the “top” gift and stationery manufacturers’ rep groups in the country, with permanent showrooms in Atlanta and Dallas, and sales reps nationwide.
