The Buckhead outpost is the first Georgia location for the virtual fitness retailer.

Peloton, a retailer of at-home workout bikes that interact with riders across the country, should open its first Georgia studio August 31, a company spokesperson told What Now Atlanta (WNA) in an email Friday.

The “interactive” showroom, situated in Buckhead’s Lenox Square Mall on level four by Macy’s, at 3393 Peachtree Road, is designed to showcase and demonstrate The Peloton Bike.

“Peloton offers a completely immersive fitness experience, with the technology, performance metrics and social connectivity to make every workout both effective and addicting.”

“This is the first and only fitness bike to fully integrate a home workout machine with live group cycling classes, allowing for interaction and competition with fellow riders across the country and real-time instructor feedback, while monitoring an array of output metrics.”

The Peloton Bike, which retails for $1,995, is equipped with a 22-inch touchscreen featuring live and on-demand fitness classes, so riders can enjoy a spin class without ever leaving their living room.
