Sandpiper is closing its Vinings Jubilee doors after a 30-year run.

The woman’s clothing and accessories boutique’s last day in its current location, at 4300 Paces Ferry Rd SE Ste 240, will be May 25, 2018.

Owner Judy Johnson will reopen Sandpiper later this year at an undisclosed location, according to a post on her Facebook page.

“After decades in Historic Vinings, I’m excited to announce that Sandpiper is moving to a brand, spanking new location in one of Atlanta’s very best addresses,” Johnson said on the social media site.

Johnson Thursday confirmed the news in an email to What Now Atlanta.

“Our new location is a tightly held secret for now. We hope to have an official blast out soon. In the meantime, we are busily liquidating our Vinings store by end of May.”

Sandpiper is hosting a “Marathon Moving Sale” ahead of the relocation.

“Have no fear we have some amazing trunk shows, pop-ups, etc. coming your way. This summer, contractors, designers, will be working round the clock as Atlanta’s favorite boutique is on the move.”

As of Wednesday, everything storewide is 20 percent off. This includes already reduced sale merchandise at 40 to 70 percent off.

Johnson acquired Sandpiper from founder Melissa Jagoe in April 2013. The boutique first opened its doors October 1987.
