Furnishings retailer moving Virginia-Highland store three doors down.

Stanton Home Furnishings is expanding its Virginia-Highland operation, owner Jimmy Stanton told What Now Atlanta (WNA) in an email.

“We are growing again. Our Virginia-Highland location has been extremely successful,” Stanton said.

The furnishings retailer, at 1050 N. Highland Avenue, will reopen down the street in space most recently housing Bella Cucina’s Porta Via (Bella Cucina plans on reopening elsewhere), at 1044 N. Highland Avenue.

“This will be over doubling the current size of our [Virginia-Highland] store allowing us to carry more upholstery, case goods and larger items, while expanding on accessories: candles, books, pillows, vases, and gifts,” Stanton said.

Stanton Home Furnishings is hosting a “Moving Sale” at the current Virginia-Highland location.

The new store, situated between Cacao and Nadine’s, is slated to open in August.

Stanton’s 7,000-square-foot Westside showroom will continue to operate at the furnishing store’s headquarters.
