The Battery Atlanta is slated to receive a new entertainment concept. Great Big Game Show will join the development in spring 2026, according to a release.

Great Big Game Show will immerse customers in a TV-style game show competition where they are the contestants. Customers will split into teams and compete in mini-games such as trivia, puzzles, games of chance and speed challenges. The idea is to bring the various elements of a real game show into the entertainment concept, using lights, buzzers and even a live host.

This will be the first location in Georgia for the brand, joining 13 existing locations across the country. It already has locations in several other major cities, including Nashville, Las Vegas, Honolulu and Washington, D.C.

“Great Big Game Show reflects the kind of distinctive, first-to-market entertainment we strive to bring to The Battery Atlanta,” Jeremy Strife, executive vice president of development at Braves Development Company, said in the release. “From the buzzers and lights to the laughter and connection it inspires, this experience not only adds to our dynamic mix of dining, live music and attractions, but also creates new opportunities for families, friends and colleagues to come together and make lasting memories.”

The concept comes from the creators of The Escape Game, a Nashville-based escape room chain that has locations across the U.S. Mark Flint, Jonathan Murrell and James Murrell launched The Escape Game in 2014, and the Great Big Game Show launched its first location in Nashville in 2023.

The location at The Battery Atlanta will include three studios that can each host up to 14 participants per game.

In addition to Atlanta, the Great Big Game Show has plans to expand to some other major markets, including Seattle and New York City.

The Battery Atlanta recently announced that J. Alexander’s is joining the development next spring, as well.
