Poncey-Highland to get vintage-inspired women’s boutique retailer.

Ever-eclectic Poncey Highland is getting a new retro-inspired women’s boutique.

SRS Real Estate Partners (SRS) announced in a press release today that the leasing team has secured a lease with Trashy Diva at the 675 N. Highland mixed-use project in Atlanta.

The women’s retailer will have two storefronts at the project, a 1,600-square-foot dress, clothing and shoes boutique and 1,500-square-foot lingerie boutique, which will include both basic staple pieces and more extravagant or niche items. Both shops are slated to open in summer of 2016.

The boutique women’s clothing store sells vintage and retro inspired clothing, shoes, jewelry, accessories and lingerie, has five locations in New Orleans. This will be their first location in Atlanta.

Erin Hall, a public relations representative with the company told What Now Atlanta in an email Tuesday that the company felt that eclectic mix of vintage and modern elements in Poncey-Highland was a good reflection of Trashy Diva’s brand.

The Atlanta store will be a “capsule”-type store, encompassing the best parts of the retailer’s brand. In New Orleans, the company has separate stores for dresses, accessories, shoes and lingerie. In Atlanta, everything will be together under one roof.

Owner/designer Candice Gwinn is an Atlanta native.
