The Men’s Parlor at I.Q. to replace The Stout Brothers in Inman Quarter.
Anna Grace, a former Gwinnett restaurant owner, is leaving her apron behind to launch a new intown men’s grooming venture.
But Grace isn’t going at it alone.
The restauranteur turned barber is partnering with Thuy Bich, a licensed cosmetologist, for The Men’s Parlor at I.Q., at 299 North Highland Avenue, in the recently-opened Inman Quarter development.
The duo is looking to latch on to the area’s growth, Grace told What Now Atlanta (WNA) in an email Wednesday.
The Men’s Parlor would replace the now-shuttered The Stout Brothers, which quietly closed its doors early July citing a “lack of foot traffic” for its demise. The beer retailer is shifting its focus to its Smyrna brewery, and is planning a new location in Kennesaw.
“Our space is going to be modern and rustic but with a sexy and fun atmosphere…”
The Men’s Parlor should open at the beginning of October 2016, and Grace and Bich are looking to expand the concept to areas like Vinings, Buckhead and Alpharetta.
Unfortunate to hear about Stout Brothers. They were tucked back there but now that all restaurants are open in that area I would’ve thought maybe they could do better. Feel like a concept like that could still be successful in the right space in IP.
Looking forward to the new haircut place. The Shave is great but it’s a pain to try to get in there. Glad to have another option
