The Old Fourth Ward location of the home furnishings retailer could be its new ‘market’ concept.
The forthcoming West Elm store in Ponce City Market could open as a “West Elm Market,” a manager at the company’s Atlantic Station location told What Now Atlanta (WNA) in a telephone conversation Monday.
A building permit application was filed with City of Atlanta Friday for interior alterations to suite NE-160, at 675 Ponce de Leon Avenue NE, for the Brooklyn-based home furnishings retailer’s newest location “with a café.”
The West Elm Market concept includes a café and a common area for community workshops, and retails kitchen, garden, repair, and personal care items, in addition to home furnishings.
West Elm corporate was not immediately available for comment.
