Dunwoody will be getting Georgia’s first location of Winestore, a North Carolina-based wine shop.

The company has signed a lease at the Shops of Dunwoody, an outdoor shopping center north of Atlanta. Gary Woodward (@wolfofpeachstreet on Instagram) and Alec Volle of JLL helped secure the space. Lisa Graham of Brand Real Estate Services represented the landlord.

Winestore was founded in 2005 with the aim of providing an enjoyable, educational and non-intimidating wine-shopping experience. “Our real goal was to create a wine store that was friendly to everyone,” according to the website.

The brand has eight stores in North Carolina. The company-owned Dunwoody outpost will be the first location in Georgia.

Matthew Hartley, president and founder of Winestore, said they hope to open the new store by August.
