A new seafood joint is headed to Atlanta. Seaside Oyster Bar is slated to open in September, at 3890 Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road in Suwanee.
The new restaurant comes from TMT Concepts, the group behind Tequila Mama Taqueria, which is just around the corner from the new Seaside Oyster Bar. In June, the new space, formerly Friends Suwanee Grill, officially got a paint job — a white brick exterior with the words “Seaside Oyster Bar” and “EST. 2021” painted in navy blue with a sea-green shadow across the front of the building.
As for the vibes, Seaside Oyster Bar should have a warm, beachy feel — perfect for a family outing or a first date. The restaurant will serve fresh seafood dishes and a rotating selection of oysters from various regions. Bourbon, beer, and specialty cocktails will feature heavy on the drink menu (and maybe some oyster shooters?).
We love a good oyster bar, and Seaside Oyster Bar is shaping up to be a fun spot to crack into some shellfish on ice over a bucket of beer (we don’t actually know if they’ll serve beer in buckets, but we’re certainly fantasizing about it). Head to Seaside Oyster Bar in September to top off your summer with good seafood and a strong cocktail.
So far, I am not impressed, because they do not have an online menu ! What I want to know, please, is if they carry ALL THREE of these : Oysters on the half shell……Oyster Stew…….and fried oysters. ALL THREE ITEMS. Thanks to whoever is answering !
