Bloom General Store is an all-new doughnut and coffee shop heading to Milton, on 15260 Hopewell Rd. The doughnut shop will have an emphasis on making delicious treats from scratch, or “farm doughnuts the way grandma made them way back when.”

Co-owner Josh Kim is “most excited about the team we are building now and our culture of taking care of each other and customers,” they told What Now Atlanta (WNA). “We are going to be a good addition to Milton.” Kim — with Chris Sedgwick of Sedgwick Restaurant Group — will also be serving pacotized gelato, along with a solid coffee program featuring a variety of beans roasted by East Pole.

“Since we occupy one of only two remaining historic buildings left in Milton, we are paying homage to the mercantile past with flowers,” flowers provided by Kim’s wife, they told WNA. The flowers all “Bloom,” hence the name.

The multi-talented Megan Allen is the pastry chef behind the scenes, having experimented for months, perfecting all recipes and flavors. Bloom General Store is set to open sometime in January.

(Edited to remove “Sedgwick Restaurant Group” from the title at the request of the owner)
