It’s A Sweet Life, a boutique bakery founded in 2009, is relocating to RocaPoint Partners’ Halycon development a decade later.

The specialty cake boutique this summer will open in the Alpharetta 135-acre mixed-use development.

It’s A Sweet Life offers a range of sweet treats, but is best known for creating specialty cakes for any occasion.

Amie Pagan started the company in her home as a hobby before growing it into a full-time career.

“The cornerstone of our business is providing our clientele with exceptional custom cakes with unmatched service,” Pagan said in a prepared statement.

“Our relocation to Halcyon will bolster our ability to continue offering one-of-a-kind creations to the growing Atlanta event market.”

Pagan’s new location at Halcyon will feature a larger space for baking, preparation and decorating.

“Our vision for Halcyon includes an ideal tenant mix of in-demand businesses that cater to the collective community,” Phil Mays, principal at RocaPoint Partners, said in the statement.

“Adding to the mix of local tenants coming to Halcyon, It’s A Sweet Life will be a source for imaginative, signature cakes that take center stage at special events.”

Pagan hopes to hold tasting pop-ups at Halcyon for event planners and bridal parties to sample her creations in the upcoming months before the official grand opening.
