Louisville-based Joella’s Hot Chicken, a fast-casual restaurant featuring hot chicken and made-from-scratch sides, will open its third Georgia location on Tuesday, October 29, according to a press release Wednesday.
Woodstock will be home to the new Joella’s, at 188 Molly Lane, complete with a drive-thru and outdoor seating.
Outposts in Cumberland and Kennesaw opened earlier this year.
On opening day in Woodstock starting at 8 a.m., Joella’s is going to give away nearly $50,000 in free chicken meals to the first 100 guests in line (each receiving a one-year supply which is equivalent to 52 meal tickets).
Guests wanting the free meals should be 18 years and older with valid identification and are invited to form a line up to 24 hours prior to the restaurant’s opening.
There will also be a series of opening-week promotions:
- Tuesday, October 29 through Thursday, October 31: Kids Eat Free* when wearing Halloween costume (*with purchase of a Chicken Plate, Big Sammie or Fresh Salad)
- Wednesday, October 30: $7.99 Lunch Special All Day
- Thursday, October 31: $1 off Jumbo Tenders Chicken Plate
- Friday, November 1: Free Koozie with Beer Purchase
- Saturday, November 2: Free Koozie with Beer Purchase
Joella’s Woodstock will be open Sunday through Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.
This is the fourteenth location to open for the chain, with an additional outpost slated to debut in Newnan this fall.
